In the country music capital of the world, one address stands apart: 231 Sixth Avenue North. This is the Hermitage Hotel and for more than 100 years, it has the been the premier accommodation in Music City.
The Hermitage Nashville has played host to every famous musician the city has ever seen. This is the city’s only remaining “Beaux Arts” building, but the rooms and the property have undergone massive renovations over the years to keep the property up to contemporary standards. In a city filled with party hotels, this property offers a refinement many visitors want.

Located in the SoBro section of downtown, the Omni has set a standard for best downtown Nashville luxury hotels. The Omni is adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Music City Center. It doesn’t get more central than this.
But the Omni Nashville is best known for the incredible rooftop swimming pool, fitness center and seasonal poolside bar. With stunning views of the city, this is one of the most remarkable places in town. You’ll want to be up here day or night.

This boutique luxury hotel in The Gulch neighborhood is one of our favorites. The Thompson Nashville is located just steps from fantastic restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and bars. It is close enough to heart of the action, but in a more sophisticated neighborhood.

The Bobby Hotel is located in the Arts District just a few blocks off Broadway and immediately adjacent to Printers Alley. The prime location makes the Bobby impossible to miss.

Black Swan – SoBro Guest House
The Black Swan – SoBro Guest House isn’t a hotel in the classical sense. It is really more of a hybrid between a very small boutique hotel/B&B and a vacation apartment. Billing itself as an “alternative accommodation,” it offers more services than a vacation rental, but doesn’t have constant on-site staff.
In short, it’s an amazing alternative located just two blocks from Broadway and close to absolutely everything. You get high-end furnishings, a full kitchen with dining area, along with all of the normal amenities like a giant flat screen TVs for streaming, etc.

Westin
Located across the street from the Music City Center and the SoBro neighborhood, the Westin Nashville is a towering modern, high-rise building with incredible views of the city. Nowhere are those views more pronounced than at the beautiful rooftop bar and infinity pool. This is the place to relax!
Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and the majority of the rooms have city views of the skyline. As an upscale property, the hotel has many suites and club-level rooms which each have special benefits: in-room game tables, whirlpool tubs, or butler/concierge service. The TownPlace Suites Downtown is another good budget-friendly alternative. Located near the Capital, this is in a quieter corner of downtown. Close to the action, but set apart if you want to get away. This green hotel is one of the newer ones in the city and offers lots of sustainable amenities, including free bikes to get around the city!
The rooms are tastefully modern, but comfortable. The design aesthetic is minimalistic and not fussy – a focus on warm and comfortable over trendy and flashy. Best of all, they are suites, with more room.

The Noelle
The Noelle Hotel Nashville is located in the heart of the Arts District and is around the corner from Printers Alley. This property is perhaps the most unusual of all the accommodations in the city, however, it is one of the best hotels to stay in Nashville downtown. Located in the Arts District and close to the Printers Alley and the Cumberland River waterfront, the 21C Museum Hotel Nashville literally brings art into the hotel property itself. There is over 10,000 square feet of art and gallery space inside, featuring a rotating set of exhibits that brings in both visitors and locals.

The Hilton Nashville is in the heart of everything and is immediately adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame and also the Bridgestone Area. This is Nashville’s original ‘park the car and forget it’ hotel. It is close to all the restaurants and bars on Broadway. Unfortunately, the Hilton lacks a pool, which you’d expect for a business or upscale hotel.
This is an all-suite hotel, although some of the suites are rather modest and small. This hotel is a good bet for families and also guests attending events at the Bridgestone Arena.
