Ronda is gorges. Mostly, Ronda is known for the deep gorges that divide the community and play such an important part in the town’s history. Ronda Andalusia is still my favorite small town in Spain.

Seville is…special. Somehow, when I start telling people about places I love in the world, Seville usually makes the list. And there’s good reason for it – the city’s UNESCO sites, the Seville Alcazar and Cathedral, are both important and beautiful.

One of the most iconic images of Spain comes from a town in Andalusia: the candy cane stripes of La Mezquita Cordoba. But how this architecture came about is the subject of a rich, but complicated history.
