The Rock of Gibraltar has been a strategically important location for the navy’s of the world for centuries. This piece of limestone has been fought over by various countries and the territorial disputes continue to this day. Currently an overseas territory of the United Kingdom, the Union Jack flies proudly across the tiny peninsula. Pubs proudly serve fish and chips along with a pint.
